We are excited to bring back the New York Commercial Real Estate Summit for the first time IN-PERSON since 2019 on May 13, 2022.
Established in 2011, the NYCRE Summit tackles key issues in office, retail, industrial and hotels, as well as the long tail of other commercial real estate uses such as life sciences, data centers, educational and healthcare. Addressed are long-term trends that are affecting core demand, occupancy, values and rents for commercial real estate property, as well as recent and emerging trends that are creating both opportunities and challenges in CRE.
This year, we look at how pandemic has affected use and demand of office properties, as well as the urban / suburban dichotomy. We delve into how e-commerce continues to impact retail and industrial uses, both negatively and positively. And we look closely at opportunities to re-develop properties from one use to another, such as hotel to multifamily, retail to industrial, as well as the revitalization and redevelopment of aging properties in out-of-favor neighborhoods. Further, the recent boom in demand for life sciences properties will be discussed, as well as the outlook for flexible office.
We’ll also look at some of the more noteworthy development and redevelopment projects as well as explore the state and future of B and C type commercial properties. Geographically, the conference focuses significantly on Manhattan but also looks at how the surrounding areas in the boroughs, New Jersey, Connecticut, Westchester and Long Island are faring, paying special attention to any long-term shifts in demand due to the pandemic, as well as opportunities that are perhaps generating greater returns elsewhere in the country.
Join us May 13, 2022 in Manhattan at the NYCRE Summit for a day of in-person learning, idea sharing, deal making and networking. Or join virtually!
