As part of the Real Estate Women’s Forum (“REWF”) 2024, we have organized a number of Social Activities in and around San Diego on Wednesday, March 13 and Friday, March 15. These are a great way to connect with other women in the real estate industry while doing something fun! See below for details and activities. Balboa Park Scavenger Hunt
March 13, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Discover the hidden gems and breathtaking beauty of Balboa Park, San Diego’s ever-changing, always amazing, 1,200-acre backyard!

On this hunt, we will explore the park’s lush gardens, historic buildings, and world-class museums while searching for answers to trivia, photo, and video challenges too. From the San Diego Natural History Museum to the Botanical Building, from the Casa del Prado Theater to the Japanese Friendship Garden, this scavenger hunt is designed to offer a fun and engaging way to immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Balboa Park.

Afternoon Tea at the Westgate Hotel

Hosted in the gorgeous Le Fontainebleau Room, an invitation to tea is an invitation to an afternoon steeped in elegance. Surrounded by the beauty of Versailles-inspired French interiors and the shimmer of antique crystal chandeliers, enjoy delicate tea sandwiches, a sweet selection of fresh handmade savories, pastries, French macarons, and cakes while getting to know your fellow conference attendees.

Whale Watching Boat Tour
March 13, 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Embark on an exciting Wildlife Safari that will take you out into the ocean to look for whales, dolphins, sea-lions, pelagic birds and other marine wildlife. Enjoy 360 degree views and front row seats to the action!

Get arms-reach away from wildlife on the low profile vessel. Dolphins love to swim in the pressure wave around the boats and put on a show for the passengers.

Ask questions and enjoy one-on-one time with the captain. You will be provided with educational information, stories from experience, and unforgettable memories.

La Jolla Cove Sea Cave Kayak Tour
March 15, 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Explore the Seven Sea Caves and paddle through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve on a kayaking adventure. You’ll have the chance to see the beauty of La Jolla and the seven sea caves, watch sea lions sunbathing on the rocks, and see our California State fish, the bright orange Garibaldi, swimming under your kayak in La Jolla Cove. On the way back you’ll have the opportunity to surf your kayak back to shore.

Throughout the tour, your guides will be making sure you’re safe and having fun. No experience is required, and safety is our primary concern. Entry into the cave depends upon the ocean and weather conditions, but it is just one small part of this amazing tour. Either way, you’ll have the ability to enjoy and learn about the natural beauty of La Jolla Cove!
