Yi-Shan Huang is a Managing Director for BGO based in New York, focused on asset management team where she manages a portfolio of assets across the US and leads special projects initiatives across the platform. Yi-Shan has 25 years experience in the origination, underwriting, acquisition and asset management of private equity real estate investments in the US and Asia. She has complete deal lifecycle experience across all real estate asset classes, and substantial investment experience investing across the risk curve, in both open and closed-end structures, as well as cross-border investments.

Yi-Shan first joined BGO in 2021 based in Hong Kong and Shanghai, where she oversaw their Greater China investments, from 2021-2023. Prior to BGO, Yi-Shan had a 19-year career at JPMorgan, based in NY with roles in asset management, acquisitions, and alternative acquisitions, covering markets across the US from 2000-2007, and then based in Hong Kong and Shanghai from 2007-2018, where as Managing Director, Head of Acquisitions, China, she led the team’s investment activities in Greater China, South Korea, and Singapore.

Yi-Shan is on the Board of Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association since 2021 and serves as chair of the Development/Finance Allocation Committee. She is a member of WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate, ULI, and member of NAIOP.

Yi-Shan graduated with honors from Cornell University with a B.A. in Policy Analysis and Management, an interdisciplinary major with coursework focused on core disciplines of economics, statistics, government, sociology and ethics. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Chinese, and Italian.
