Tom Suminski serves as the Senior Managing Director of Development for Aventon, where he is responsible for sourcing new projects and managing existing developments throughout Central Florida. Mr. Suminski brings more than 30 years of experience in the multifamily development industry, with experience in development, acquisition, finance and property management. He has developed and financed over $2 billion of multifamily properties nationwide including garden-style, mid-rise wrap and high-rise mixed-use buildings. He also has experience in the development of several self-storage and senior housing facilities. Prior to joining Aventon, Mr. Suminski was a Division President with Banner Real Estate Group in Chicago. Prior roles include positions with Deutsche Bank, Draper and Kramer and the Illinois Housing and Development Authority. Mr. Suminski holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin and a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
