Tim Zwerner leads Burr Forman LLP’s multifamily housing team and has provided assistance on commercial real estate transactions in excess of $3 billion. Tim has represented clients in a broad range of commercial real estate and business transactions. His real estate practice focuses on the representation of privately-held sponsors, private equity companies and institutional lenders in complex opportunities with a particular emphasis on development, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and financing (debt and equity) in the multi-family/single-family purpose-built rental sector, the agricultural and forestry industry, grocery-anchored and in-line retail centers, and the hospitality industry. His engagements regularly track the life-cycle of a deal and include the negotiation of: letters of intent; purchase and sale agreements; joint-venture agreements; loan documents; property management agreements; and other development and asset management agreements as well as spearheading all diligence related efforts.
