Mr. Ludwig has been actively involved in many facets of the real estate industry since 1994. He has significant experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, development, property management and capital sourcing for both public and private companies. In 2002, Mr. Ludwig began syndicating real estate investments which lead to the co-founding of Coastline Capital Partners, LLC in 2003. Since the Company’s inception, Mr. Ludwig has been responsible for the acquisition, syndication and operation of approximately $240 million of real estate assets.

In 2008, Mr. Ludwig co-founded Coastline Real Estate Advisors, Inc. (“CREA”), a third-party property and construction management firm which has managed over 4,000 apartments since inception. CREA’s clients include private high net worth investors, national and international institutional investors.

Prior to Coastline, Mr. Ludwig worked for Colony Capital, LLC (“Colony”), a premiere, international real estate investment firm. At Colony, he focused his energies on sourcing and underwriting new property acquisitions while maintaining asset management responsibilities across a wide variety of asset types. Mr. Ludwig began his professional career as a Financial Analyst for Prudential Securities Incorporated (“PSI”) in the Real Estate Investment Banking division. At PSI, Mr. Ludwig primarily focused his attention on portfolio dispositions and raising public and private capital for select clientele.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and marketing from The Roberto C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University. In addition, Mr. Ludwig has been a “Big Brother” with Jewish Big Brother Big Sisters of Los Angeles for eight years and is an active participant and fundraiser for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
