As Associate Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities Planning for Eli Lilly and Company, Steve leads a team that is responsible for managing global real estate transactions as well as providing site & facility (lab and office) planning leadership in support of the various Lilly business units and sites. During Steve’s 20 years of leadership, Lilly real estate strategies and transactions have encompassed numerous projects globally including manufacturing, office, lab and mixed use projects.
Steve has been in the real estate industry for 35 years. He began his career in property management with JMB Properties Company and was later an Asset Manager with a regional developer based in Indianapolis. He was also a commercial broker; and, just prior to joining Lilly was Vice President of a residential home builder leading the Land Development division.
Steve received a B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa in 1988 and earned a Juris Doctorate from Indiana University in 1995. His activities in the real estate arena include CORENET; BOMA; IAMC. Over the years, Steve has served on various Indianapolis area Boards and has been recognized in Who’s Who in Indianapolis Real Estate.
