Sotiris K. Kolokotronis is the Founder and President of SKK Developments, a real estate firm that specializes in mixed-use, multi-family and land development projects.

Sotiris began his real estate career in 1985. Since 1987, he has been involved as principal in developing more than 7,000 residential home sites, 2,000 single family homes, 2,000 multi-family units and 300,000 square feet of commercial buildings in Northern California, Colorado, Nevada and Oregon valued at $1.7 billion.

In the early 2000’s, SKK Developments shifted its emphasis to Sacramento’s urban core – with a specific focus on mixed-use, multi-family projects – and was the catalyst of Midtown Sacramento’s renaissance. In total, SKK Developments has delivered over 1,150 ownership and rental residential units and 32,000 square feet of retail space in the core since 2000 valued at $530 million. In just the last five years, SKK Developments has built and/or has under construction 50% of all residential units within Midtown Sacramento.

SKK Developments recently completed The Press, Eleanor Apts., H16 Apartments in Sacramento’s Midtown, and is currently involved in the development of several projects in Sacramento’s Midtown and other infill locations including The Mansion, Arden Gateway Phase II, 16th/17th and J Street, 1116 18th Street, among others.

Furthermore, in the beginning of 2021 SKK Developments was selected as the developer for SMUD’s 20-acre former Corporate Yard; a mixed-use community with nearly 900 residential units, 20,000 square feet of commercial/retail, and various community amenities valued at $420 million.
