Sheela Jivan is Google’s District Director for the Downtown West project in San Jose. She did her undergraduate and graduate degrees at UC Berkeley and spent much of her career at Mercy Housing, a national nonprofit housing developer, where she developed all types of affordable housing. While based in San Francisco, she has had the opportunity to develop in jurisdictions across the state. She came to Google from FivePoint where she led the entitlement effort on the master planned development of the Concord Naval Weapons Station on behalf of Lennar.
