Sandy Schmid is the Vice President of Acquisitions & Development at Starpoint Properties, Inc. where he focuses on investments with a multifamily entitlement and ground-up development exit. He responsibilities include deal sourcing, diligence, entitlements, and development management. Prior to Starpoint, he sourced land acquisitions, managed diligence and supported entitlements in the Los Angeles metro region for a national multifamily developer. His experience spans roles responsible for multifamily land acquisitions, entitlements, finance, and capital advisory. Sandy started his real estate career as an architectural designer for residential projects.

Sandy received his dual degree MBA/MRED from the University of Southern California and his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Outside of work, he enjoys riding bikes, BBQ’ing, and getting humbled by his family.
