Sameer Walvekar joined Urban Genesis in 2019 and serves as Senior Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. Sameer is responsible for capital raising, marketing and

investor relations. He also oversees the firm’s investments and developments in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Prior to Urban Genesis, Sameer worked for Stockbridge Capital Group in their investments team, covering the western United States. Sameer started his real estate career as an acquisitions analyst at Lionstone Investments.

Sameer received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
