Richard Brancato has 35 years of real estate experience with a focus on raising debt and equity capital, bank and investor relations, acquisitions, investments, and multi-family asset management.
Mr. Brancato is the Chief Operating Officer for Rockrose Development L.L.C., a $5 billion family- owned private real estate owner/developer/manager based in New York City. In this role, Mr. Brancato is responsible for the residential operations of the company’s 6,000 luxury rental apartments in New York City, procurement of capital, investments, development/acquisitions underwriting, capital planning, and banking and investor relations.
During Mr. Brancato’s tenure at Rockrose, he has been responsible for the execution of over 100 loan, acquisition and joint venture transactions totaling approximately $9 billion. These transactions contributed toward the acquisition and development of approximately 10,000 residential units, and five million square feet of office and retail space in New York City and Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining Rockrose, Mr. Brancato was at Birchwood Development Corporation, a large suburban owner/developer of single-family homes, condominiums and co-ops. Mr. Brancato was involved in the drafting of offering plans, budgeting, managing condominiums and co-op associations, and marketing.
Mr. Brancato holds an undergraduate degree from Hofstra University and an MBA in Finance from Long Island University, CW Post.
