Mr. Banjo is a Managing Principal and one of the founders of Artemis. Mr. Banjo has more than 20 years of experience in real estate principal investing and corporate finance. He is co-chair of the Firm’s Investment Committee and leads the acquisitions and asset management group. In this capacity, he is responsible for developing and implementing the investment strategies for the firm’s various investment vehicles. Mr. Banjo joined at the inception of Artemis in 2009, and in 2014 he relocated to Los Angeles to lead the firm’s West Coast office.

Prior to Artemis, Mr. Banjo was a Director in JER’s U.S. Fund Business. In his capacity as Director, Mr. Banjo was responsible for the evaluation, acquisition and asset management of new investments in the U.S. During his tenure with JER, Mr. Banjo managed/co-managed the acquisition of over $2 billion of new investments. Prior to JER, Mr. Banjo worked for Arthur Andersen in its Real Estate Corporate Finance Group.

Mr. Banjo earned a BBA, with concentrations in finance and real estate, from the University of Michigan. Mr. Banjo currently serves as a real estate cabinet member for Make-A-Wish – Greater Los Angeles.
