Rashid A. Walker is the Founder & CEO of First Street Companies. He serves as head of the investment committee with responsibility for the strategic direction and investment strategy ofthe company. Throughout his 20-plus years of industry experience, Rashid has focused on developing, originating, and structuring various types of real estate transactions.

Rashid serves as Co-Chair of the Urban Land Institute of New York Mixed-Use Blue Council. Additionally, he is a member of the Planning Board of the Village of Hempstead, NY and is on the Board of Directors of Community Development Long Island.

Rashid received his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
