Ramon Kochavi is first vice president and regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s San Francisco office. As regional manager, he provides leadership and support to agents in San Francisco and is charged with expanding the firm’s services to clients throughout the region.

Mr. Kochavi joined the firm in September 2001 as an agent in the Ontario office, and earned a sales achievement award in each of his years as an agent while closing more than $35 million in transactions. He became sales manager of the Ontario office in April 2004 and then assumed the same position in the Manhattan office in July 2005. Mr. Kochavi was appointed regional manager of the Washington, D.C. office in 2006. He left the firm in 2010 to pursue other real estate opportunities. Most recently, Mr. Kochavi served as managing director for CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office. He returned to Marcus & Millichap in 2017 as first vice president and regional manager of the San Francisco office.

Mr. Kochavi served as head of security for the Red Sea Navy Base in the Israeli Defense Force and was one of five recipients of the Navy Award for outstanding accomplishment in 1994. He graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature and earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In his free time, Mr. Kochavi enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his wife and two children.
