Philippe B. Visser is President of Related Office Development where he leads the company’s expansive commercial office development efforts nationally. Mr. Visser joined Related in 2013 and led the successful execution of 30 Hudson Yards, a 2.6 million-square-foot, 1,296-foot-tall office tower and the future home to KKR, Wells Fargo, Time Warner Inc., DNB Bank and Related’s corporate offices.
Prior to joining Related, Philippe served as Director, World Trade Center Redevelopment for the Port Authority of NY & NJ leading the $15 billion, 14 million-square-foot World Trade Center redevelopment. Mr. Visser was previously responsible for the acquisition and development of New York City projects for Tishman Speyer, worked in acquisitions at Vornado Realty Trust and ran the day-to-day development of commercial office and mixed-use projects for Forest City Ratner.
Mr. Visser graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa member and Truman Scholar. He has an MBA from the Columbia Business School and a Master’s of Science in Regional and Urban Planning from the London School of Economics, which he attended as a Thouron Fellow. Mr. Visser has previously chaired the YMCA’s 2016 and 2017 capital campaigns and is a member of the Business Advisory Committee of the New York Aquarium and UJA Brooklyn Advisory Committee and is a Trustee of Kane Street Synagogue.
