As CEO, Peter is responsible for expansion of Terwilliger Pappas’s development activities throughout the Southeast. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Pappas has directed the Solis Sharon Square development in Charlotte’s SouthPark area.

A former partner with The Harris Group after starting his career with The Bissell Companies, Pappas has developed, marketed and managed numerous noteworthy projects including Michelin’s North American Headquarters, Ballantyne, Morrocroft and 330 South Tryon. In addition to his work at Terwilliger Pappas he is CEO and founder of Pappas Properties, a firm nationally renowned for its mixed-use development work. There, Pappas and his team have developed some of the Southeast’s most successful mixed-use communities including Metropolitan, Birkdale Village, Phillips Place and most recently Sharon Square.

Active in major trade organizations and the community, Pappas has served as a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute and Chairman of its 2012 Spring Meeting, Past Chair of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and Member of the NC Board of Transportation. Honors include the Realtor Citizenship Award and Charlotte Regional Commercial Realtor of the Year.

Pappas graduated from the North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Economics.
