As a Vice President of Leasing for Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, Paula Charles is responsible for managing leasing at top fashion properties in the portfolio of enclosed malls located on the East Coast and in the Midwest.

Mrs. Charles has more than 30 years of experience within the retail real estate industry where she has held leadership roles responsible for leasing, re-development leasing, merchandising and real estate strategies.

Prior to joining PREIT in 2018 she was Senior Vice President, Leasing, for Steiner and Associates where she led the fashion and restaurant account leasing for the Steiner portfolio. Previous to that, she was with General Growth Properties, Inc. from 1998-2013 where she served to oversee leasing strategy for 13 properties in the North Eastern US. Before that, she served in a variety of capacities including leadership roles in retail leasing, merchandising strategy, and redevelopment.

Mrs. Charles earned an M.B.A. in Marketing from Drexel University and a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and her local church community.
