Born in Mexico City, Mr. Schon immigrated with his family to La Jolla, CA at the age of 14. He first attended University of California, Davis and then transferred, earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees, in International Studies and Spanish Literature, from the University of California, San Diego. Soon after, Mr. Schon began his real estate career as a multi-family licensed broker for Marcus & Millichap in their Los Angeles office. After a successful career in brokering. Mr. Schon decided to expand into the investing and development side of real estate. In 2009 he teamed up with Mr. Tepler to form Schon Tepler Partners. In addition to real estate, Mr. Schon was previously a Board Member of an FDIC Insured Commerce Bank of Temecula Valley, which recently merged with Nano Banc in 2018. Paul Schon is also a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and the Real Estate and Construction division of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. He has also been a guest lecturer at UCLA and USC Real Estate Development classes. In addition to his passion for business and real estate, Paul has also excelled in the sports of wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. At UC Davis, Paul was a Division 1 wrestler and currently holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as past world championship and national titles.
