Paul Fried is an Executive Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets at GCA. Greystone is a national finance company, originating $19 billion last year, annually a top 10 agency lender by volume, and the country’s top FHA-HUD lender. Greystone Capital Advisors is Greystone’s investment banking team, which raises equity and debt and originates construction, fixed and bridge loans for real estate owners and developers. In 2021, his team originated senior debt of $900 million, advised on equity placements of $300 million and arranged $700 million of debt, primarily on construction and development projects around the country.

Paul’s experience, prior to Greystone, includes overseeing debt and equity capital markets for L&L Holding, and he was a Director with Deutsche Banc where he was a member of the investment committee. Paul co-founded finance company Allegiance Capital prior to that. He started as an attorney and was in the corporate reorganization group at Milbank, Tweed.

Paul has a JD from Rutgers (Newark), where he was an Editor of the Law Review, and a BA from Rutgers College (New Brunswick; History) where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar. He is a Council Member of the Urban Land Institute and co-council of the NY ULI chapter.
