Pamela Boneham is a member of Barings Real Estate, a global real estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. Pam is a Managing Director and Head of Capital Strategies, responsible for helping drive strategic decision making from a business unit perspective. In addition, she serves on the U.S. Equity Investment Committee and Valuation Committee. Prior to her current role, Pam was Central Region Head, and was responsible for supervising all activities in connection with the Central Region’s diversified real estate investment portfolio, including acquisitions, asset management and dispositions. Pam has worked in the industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining Barings in 2013, Pam worked as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director for Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management, formerly known as RREEF, where she was the lead Portfolio Manager for several public and corporate pension fund separate accounts. She also was President of RREEF America REIT, Inc., the company’s first flagship core private Real Estate Investment Trust, and managed other commingled funds during her tenure. Prior to that, she was at Equity Office Properties and Jones Lang LaSalle. Pam holds a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater and an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is active in a variety of professional and community associations, including Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Industrial and Office Product Council-Silver and Co-Chairs the ULI Chicago Women’s Leadership Advisory (WLI) Board; Pension Real Estate Association (PREA); Economic Club of Chicago; The University of Wisconsin James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate Board Member; and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW.)
