Nicholas Silvers is a founding partner of Tavros, a real estate investment management and development firm focused on the New York City market. As a member of Tavros’ Investment Committee and Head of the firm’s New York City office, Nick has played a pivotal role in the development of over 4.2 million square feet of residential, retail, and office space since 2009.

Before co-founding Tavros, Nick served as a Director at Credit Suisse Group AG in New York, where he was responsible for originating large loan real estate opportunities in the U.S. and managing the distribution of high-yield real estate debt and equity products, primarily to investors in Europe and the Middle East. Nick’s career at Credit Suisse began as a business strategy associate, where he reported directly to the CEO.

In 2014, Nick joined the Board of Directors at ButterflyMX, a company that provides smart intercom and building access solutions for residential and commercial properties. Nick played a crucial role in the founding and growth of ButterflyMX, helping the company secure its position as a leading provider of innovative building access technology.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Nick serves as a director on the board of New Heights, a nonprofit organization focused on sports-based youth development and education in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He is also an active member of both the Duke Financial Economics Steering Committee, and the JCP Real Estate committee.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from Duke University. He resides in Tribeca, New York City with his three children — Max, Sloan, and Brody.
