Miriam Harris is the Head of Development for Priya Living (www.PriyaLiving.com) where she leads the real estate group in the national roll out of its singular and preeminent Indian inspired senior living brand. A seasoned real estate executive, Miriam has over two decades of experience in the industry. Prior to Priya, Miriam was the Executive Vice President of Trinity Place Holdings Inc. (NYSE:TPHS). In this role, she directed all aspects of the company’s real estate business including the development of 77 Greenwich, a new 300,000 square foot mixed-use luxury condominium, retail and elementary school project in Lower Manhattan, as well as the acquisitions, sales, leasing, and asset management of properties in the New York tristate area. Prior to leading real estate for TPHS, she served as Executive Vice President and Co-head of the Real Estate Transaction Services Group for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) where she negotiated some of the most complex transformational public-private land development deals executed under the Bloomberg Administration such as The Cornell Tech Campus and Essex Crossing. Miriam also served as Vice President of Commercial Development at Forest City Ratner Companies where she was instrumental in the development of The New York Times Building as well as the companies’ hotel developments. Miriam earned a Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. from Swarthmore College. She serves on the board of Building for the Arts New York, a not for profit organization dedicated to music education and the dramatic arts in New York City. Miriam is also an active member of WXNYRE and the Urban Land Institute where she currently serves as co-chair of the local mixed use product council.
