As Executive Vice President of Construction, Michael Witek spearheads Naftali Group’s developments from conceptual design through construction documents, including all entitlement-related matters. With over 30 years in the industry, Mr. Witek has amassed in-depth knowledge and a unique understanding of every aspect of development and construction, including design, zoning, logistics, cost analysis, and procurement within New York’s highly competitive construction environment.

Since joining Naftali Group, Mr. Witek has led design and construction teams for renovation and ground-up developments of more than 25 properties encompassing approximately 7 million square feet in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and South Florida. His relationships and stellar reputation in the industry, coupled with his dynamic management style, have been instrumental to Naftali Group’s ability to commission and execute some of the most complex projects in New York City.

Prior to joining Naftali Group, Mr. Witek held a senior project management position at El Ad Properties managing the execution of some of the company’s acclaimed projects, including 250 West Street, The Plaza Hotel, and The O’Neill Building.

Mr. Witek holds a B.A. from Syracuse University, where he played lacrosse on the 1993 and 1995 NCAA Championship teams.
