Maury Stern is a Principal at Insight where he is responsible for all facets of development of large multifamily and mixed-use projects currently in Insight’s pipeline. Prior to joining Insight, Maury was a Development Manager at StonebridgeCarras in Bethesda, MD where he managed the development of approximately 600 multi-family units from design through entitlements, permitting, and construction and served as the asset manager for over 400 luxury apartment units.

Prior to Stonebridge, Maury was Vice President of Development at University Town Center in Hyattsville, MD. While there, he was responsible for asset management of a mixed-use town center with over 1 million square feet of office, retail, condos and student housing.

Before University Town Center, Maury was a Development Manager at JPI in McLean, VA and was responsible for the underwriting, design, construction and stabilization of approximately 1,000 multi-family units in the DC area valued at over $250 million and managed the predevelopment of numerous other pursuits.

Maury earned a B.A. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from Columbia Business School.
