Matt Sridhar started Sridhar Equities in 2001 by buying a 4-plex in East San Jose for $600,000 using all of his savings. Today the portfolio has grown to over $200 million. Now with over 17 years of experience in multifamily, retail, office and industrial asset classes, Mr. Sridhar brings an experienced and decisive leadership approach to Bay Area real estate. His thought leadership and organizational vision for Sridhar Equities are among the key reasons for the company’s success to date.

Prior to his dealings in commercial real estate, Mr. Sridhar was involved in several tech startup companies where he led product development, marketing and sales organizations. He was involved in the successful $1.2 Billion dollar IPO of Marimba (a Java-based software company) and also worked in senior roles at Oracle and Hewlett Packard. Mr. Sridhar holds an M.S. in Engineering Economics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
