Matt Chestnut is currently a Senior Asset Manager for MIG Real Estate, a private real estate investment firm headquartered in Newport Beach, California. Matt oversees a portfolio of 7 multifamily properties across WA/UT regions and is a member of MIG’s development team currently completing a 250 unit midrise mixed used property in Fremont, CA. Prior to MIG Matt managed a PNW multifamily portfolio in excess of $1B (2000+ units) as a Senior Regional Manager for Security Properties Residential. Overall, Matt has spent the past 18 years executing value add, renovation, and new development strategies for a variety of investors, developers, and owners. Matt graduated from the University of Washington with a Finance degree and afterwards earned the UW Commercial Real Estate Development Certificate. In his free time Matt enjoys getting outdoors with his family, where you can find them skiing, mountain biking, hiking, or camping depending on the season.
