Liz Simon is the Chief Operating Officer at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, Liz spent eight years at General Assembly, a global educational company that specializes in the most in-demand skills, where she most recently served as the company’s COO. Previously she served in the Obama Administration as Counselor to the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, working on policy issues at the nexus of immigration and entrepreneurship. Liz started her career as an attorney at Hogan Lovells, a Washington D.C.-based law firm, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Liz lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son and serves on the boards of EdReports and Arena.
