Laurie Rothenberg is Assistant General Counsel at Pfizer Inc., where she leads the legal team responsible for the company’s global real estate portfolio. She provides strategic legal advice on workplace solutions and manages a variety of complex real estate and procurement transactions, including the company’s transition to its new headquarters. During her time at Pfizer, Laurie has advised on global public health collaborations and sales and represented the logistics, outsourced manufacturing, and aviation groups. Most recently, Laurie has advised the company on real estate matters critical to the development and manufacture of the COVID-19 vaccine. A LEED Accredited Professional Operations + Maintenance (LEED AP O+M), Laurie believes strongly in the potential of sustainability to improve business operations and advocates for wellness and sustainability in workplace design. She is an active member of CoreNet NY Chapter’s Sustainability Committee and the International WELL Building Institute’s (IWBI) 2021 Community Concept Advisory. In 2020, she participated on the IWBI’s Task Force on COVID-19 and Other Respiratory Infections, contributing to changes in the WELL v2 standard. Prior to joining Pfizer, Laurie was Senior Counsel at Cambrex Corporation, a life sciences contract manufacturer. She began her legal career at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, with a focus on general corporate representation, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions. Laurie has a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University and a law degree from Penn Law.
