Krista Di Iaconi is the Managing Director of the Northeast Region for Regency Centers, the preeminent national owner, operator, and developer of shopping centers located in affluent and densely populated trade areas. Krista is responsible for the strategic direction of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast portfolios, totaling 85 assets and approximately 11 million square feet. She also oversees the region’s leasing, development, operations, and asset management.

She began her career as a CPA with a regional firm, Baker Tilly. Krista then spent 20 years at JBGR, the retail arm of The JBG Companies, a prominent DC-based developer. She was initially controller at JBGR, then transitioned to acquisitions and development of grocery -anchored centers and mixed-use developments. She became Partner at JBGR with oversight of development and operations before joining EDENS as a Vice President of Development prior to coming to Regency.

Krista earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and a MS in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. She is a Trustee (Vice Chair) on the Board of The LAB School of Washington, a school for children with learning differences, where she chairs the Development Committee. Krista is also active in ULI and is past Chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) for the Washington, DC Chapter. She is also active in ICSC and is the executive sponsor of the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN), Regency’s ERG for women in the workplace.
