Kelly Lin is a social-impact real estate leader with dual master’s degrees in Real Estate Finance & Investment and Business Administration from New York University. As a partner at Terra Social Purpose Real Estate, her and her team has delivered more than 15,000 affordable, social, and market homes, plus health care, community, and commercial facilities in Canada.
With over 20 years of experience, Kelly is known for solving complex challenges in the development process, structuring innovative financing, and building the partnerships that move projects forward. She is recognized not only as a development leader but also a trusted advocate for scaling affordable housing through stronger partnerships and smarter financing for non-market and market sectors.
She previously served as Executive Director of the Tofino Housing Corporation and continues to shape policy and practice nationwide through board and sector leadership. Kelly also serves as Chair-Elect of the Urban Development Institute’s Women of Urban Development Institute and as a Board Director with the Hupacasath First Nation Economic Development Board. Passionate about the next generation, she works with NYU, the University of Toronto, and other institutions to mentor future leaders in real estate and social-impact finance and development.
