Karl has over 15 years of experience in the field of taxation and law. His background includes tax compliance and tax consulting for partnership clients with a real estate focus, as well as the practice of real estate law. Karl’s expertise includes partnership allocations, capital account and basis calculations, REIT’s, structuring, contracts, leases and other consultations. In addition to real estate, he has a deep background serving clients in financial and professional services, manufacturing, technology and renewable energy. He also has experience with high net worth individuals, trusts and foreign reporting.

Prior to joining Mazars USA, Karl was a Managing Director in the Partnership Tax group at another large global firm.

Karl received his J.D. from Pace Law School, his LL.M in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law, and his B.S. in Public Accounting from Fordham University.
