Karen Hu has over a decade of experience developing affordable and luxury housing in New York City. She got her start in real estate at HPD, as a City Planner in the Bronx Planning Unit. She then worked at Phipps Houses as a development project manager on new construction multi-family deals in the South Bronx and Harlem. While she was at The Hudson Companies, she was the project lead on One Clinton, the redevelopment of the Brooklyn Heights Library into a luxury condominium project with the largest branch in the Brooklyn Public Library system. At CPG, Karen leads a team of deeply experienced professionals working on the whole range of development deals, from ground up multi-family new construction to the preservation of Section 8 and NYCHA PACT projects. Karen holds a B.A. in Art History from Williams College and masters in Real Estate Development and City Planning from M.I.T.
