Juliet Cullen-Cheung is President of Steiner NYC, overseeing its real estate development efforts, from acquisition to operations, and all of the steps in between. Projects include a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, as well as new film and TV production spaces for Steiner Studios. Recently completed projects include the first Wegmans supermarket in NYC at Admirals Row; Hub, Brooklyn’s tallest rental tower, with 750 rental apartments, including 150 affordable, located in Downtown Brooklyn; and Steiner East Village, a luxury condominium building with 82-units. Current projects include a significant expansion of Steiner Studios at Bush Terminal, in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Prior to joining Steiner in 2006, Juliet worked with the City of New York’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development for five years on the redevelopment of affordable housing and designing new policies and programs. Juliet holds an MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University, where she also studied architecture, and a BA in Visual Art and Anthropology from the University of Chicago. Serving on Community Board 2 since 2014, she is Chair of its Transportation and Public Safety Committee. Juliet also serves on the board of the International Charter School of NY and has been a board member of several BIDs and condominiums. She has been a Brooklyn resident since 2004, where she lives with her husband and twin 8-year-old children.
