Joseph Soleiman is a Principal at Vivo Investment Group, a full-service private real estate development and management company that specializes in converting low-demand hotels into efficiency apartment complexes. In his role as Principal, Mr. Soleiman works to implement best practices and strategies across acquisitions, operations, and property management. He oversees the overall management and vision necessary to execute on an expansive national portfolio. Mr. Soleiman implements proper controls, administrative and reporting procedures as well as people systems to effectively grow and ensure financial strength and operating efficiencies across multiple asset types and development projects. He is responsible for managing relationships with key partners, brokers, lenders and vendors. He presents to partners, lenders and investors while also making strategic company recommendations to the company.
As a real estate veteran of over 21 years, he oversees the full life-cycle of the asset acquisition, development, financing/refinancing and disposition process.
Mr. Soleiman’s full-cycle real estate experience renders him a frequent guest lecturer and panelist as well as lecturer at universities and institutions.
In addition to his Vivo duties, Mr. Soleiman currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Pepperdine University at The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management, where he teaches courses on real estate law and international real estate development. In this role, Mr. Soleiman serves as a professional mentor and career coach for students seeking careers in real estate or law.
Mr. Soleiman is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, with College Honors, and received his Bachelor of Arts with summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors from UCLA, majoring in business economics and minoring in accounting.
Mr. Soleiman is an attorney with membership in the California Bar Association and a real estate broker registered with the California Department of Real Estate.
