John Protopappas is the President and CEO of Madison Park, a dynamic full-service real estate company founded in 1983, with expertise in investment, asset management, development and property management of commercial and residential properties. Under Mr. Protopappas’ leadership, Madison Park has earned a reputation for its conscious and creative approaches to development and established a proven track record of creating value for all stakeholders.

Mr. Protopappas is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with an A.B. in Economics. He served on the Port of Oakland’s Board of Commissioners from 2000 to 2007 and as its president from 2004-2005. Mr. Protopappas currently serves on the Board of Directors of Summit Bank, the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Foundation, the Oakland Police Foundation and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
