Since the inception of RockFarmer Properties in 2006, John has been responsible for acquisitions, asset management, strategic planning and marketing of the firms multifamily, office and retail assets. John is a firm believer in forming collaborative and strategic longstanding relationships to create truly transformative properties. Key to his success, John has consistently maintained strong connections with market participants, lenders, owners, operators, investors and major tenants.

A Queens native, John began his career in fashion and merchandising. In 1986, he founded a highly successful retailer and manufacturer of luxury outerwear. From the onset, John had his eye on real estate, purchasing investment properties throughout the 90s and early 2000s before selling his business in 2006 to pursue his passion in real estate full time.

John is a board member of Project Nyame Nsa, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to the orphans of Ghana and Zambia. John is a graduate of Long Island University/CW Post and NYU and holds a BS in Accounting and an MS in Finance, respectively. He lives in Long Island with his wife and three daughters and enjoys playing basketball, skiing, Texas Hold ‘Em and spending time at the family’s second home in Montauk.
