Joe Martinez is the president of Vida Companies, an Atlanta-based developer of multifamily, single-family, and mixed-use communities.

Currently, Vida has five active projects in Atlanta totaling over 1,200 units. Vida works in collaboration with partners including co-developers, institutional investors, private equity funds, and high net worth investors.

Joe has over fifteen years of experience in developing over 7,000 housing units, along with large-scale retail and office projects. His background in architecture, business, and real estate provides him a unique ability to solve complex development challenges and implement innovative, cost-effective design in the projects he leads.

Joe holds a Master of Real Estate from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, an MBA from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UNC Charlotte.

Joe serves on the board of the Urban Land Institute, the President’s Council for the Atlanta Mission, and is active at Buckhead Church. He enjoys running, cycling, travel, and spending time with his family.
