Jen Murphy brings nearly three decades of leadership in property management, marketing, leasing, and operations to her position as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Since joining CHR in 1996, Jen has held various management roles, initially serving in property management and leasing capacities, and most recently serving as Vice President of Marketing. In her position as COO, she supports and executes CHR’s short- and long-term strategies, working closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Asset Management group to align the company’s operations with ownership’s goals. Jen also works collaboratively with each department to meet and exceed goals, drive operational efficiency and maximize revenue.

As COO, Jen plays a key role in promoting company culture and ensuring clear communication between ownership, leadership, and departments. She represents CHR on industry advisory boards and in multifamily industry groups, continuing her commitment to building industry relationships and networks.

Jen serves on several committees at CHR, including Executive Committee, Investments, Strategic Operations, and is a champion for the Communications, Customer Service, Mentorship, Marketing and Website committees.

Jen’s leadership extends beyond CHR, as she is an active member of the National Apartment Association (NAA) and the Massachusetts Apartment Association (MAA) where she served as Past President and previously held various leadership roles. She is also a board member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Jen is a certified Advanced Instructor for the NAA and is credentialed as a Certified Apartment Leasing Professional. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University.
