An experienced legal and business professional, Jeffrey Michael has served as chief operating officer of the Horizon Realty Group for 18 years. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, this multi-family real estate investment and management firm currently owns 22 buildings in Chicago proper and two buildings in the surrounding suburbs. Mr. Michael’s responsibilities with the firm include sourcing new property acquisitions, spearheading relevant construction and renovation projects, and managing the company’s debt portfolio. He also ensures the firm’s legal compliance and oversees general operational processes.

He previously served four years as an associate with the Chicago-based law firm Altheimer & Gray. This position involved facilitating complex acquisition and financing for a diverse client base of real estate developers/investors and lending institutions across the United States.
