Joining Altman Management Company as Executive Vice President and COO, Jeff Buising is responsible for the overall management and operations for the company. He is a seasoned operations leader in the multifamily industry. During his career, which spans more than 20 years, Jeff has had extensive management experience, operating conventional garden, mid and high-rise, mixed-use, new construction and lease-up apartments as well as condominiums. His primary responsibilities include portfolio management, strategic financial planning, liability management, along with devising and implementing programs that enhance efficiency and profitability.

Jeff has grown through the industry from leasing and managing on-site with Summit Properties, serving as a Regional Manager for Greystar and ZOM Residential Services to Vice President of Operations with BH Management. Jeff majored in Residential Property Management at Virginia Tech where he graduated with a BS degree. Jeff also holds the CPM designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.

He has held numerous positions, including Vice President and President, supporting our industry’s apartment associations from markets in Virginia to Southeast Florida.
