Jared joined Canfield in 2015 as the development and acquisitions manager. He is responsible for overseeing entitlements, development, land acquisition and underwriting new development opportunities.

Prior to his current position, Jared worked as a real estate development consultant in Boston, Massachusetts. He was responsible for feasibility analysis on residential and commercial development projects, property acquisition and disposition, negotiations with public and private lenders, analyzing the use of various tax credit programs and overall project management. Additionally, while in Boston, he served as advisor to the investments committee of The Franklin Square House Foundation. Prior to his career in real estate, Jared worked at Fisher Investments. He has interned for the housing investment firm, Boston Capital, and for The Community Builders, an affordable housing developer.

In 2006 Jared graduated from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, with a double major in business management and entrepreneurship. He also holds a Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California. Jared served as the Vice President of the USC Graduate Real Estate Association, where he oversaw Alumni Relations and is currently an active member in ULI, NAIOP and ICSC.
