James F. Reynolds has more than 40 years of experience in the real estate industry with special focuses on strategic planning, land acquisition, land planning, entitlements, and financing.

Prior to becoming a founding Managing Partner at Silvergate Development, LLC, Reynolds served as Senior Vice President, for Oliver McMillan, where he was responsible for new developments in the San Diego region for the Lifestyle Centers and Urban Mixed Use projects.

Reynolds began his real estate career working with University Financial, focusing on real estate development and finance. Subsequently, he founded his own real estate development company, developing retail, commercial and, assisted living projects totaling in excess of 1,000,000 square feet.

Having lived in San Diego most of his, Reynolds has been active member at the San Diego Yacht club for 30 years, and has been involved in 3 America’s Cup campaigns with the Stars and Stripes team.

Reynolds served as the past President of the Point Loma (San Diego) Rotary Club and is an active member of Lambda Alpha International, and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Reynolds is a graduate of San Diego State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
