Ina Spokas

Ina is Vice President – Development for KCG Development. She is responsible for the origination of multifamily opportunities and the establishment and management of strategic relationships throughout Texas and the southwest region. With over 10 years of experience in real estate finance, development, and construction, Ina has been involved in everything from land acquisition to post-leasing activities.

Prior to KCG, Ina developed large single family home subdivisions at D.R. Horton. During her tenure there, she facilitated development and pre-development efforts, along with all site work construction and infrastructure for more than $200 million of single family home subdivisions representing over 3,300 lots. Prior to D.R. Horton, she was Director of Development and Compliance for Denison Construction, an Austin-based affordable multifamily housing development group. She managed all financing applications and post-award LIHTC activities. Additionally, Ina coordinated financial closings and construction draws and provided lease-up oversight for over 850 units, totaling more than $100 million in investments.

She started her career in the semiconductor / tech industry as a process engineer for both IBM and Motorola before making the leap to real estate development and construction. Ina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the McComb’s School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a certified HUB and is a registered WBE in the City of Austin. She currently lives in Austin with her two rescue dogs, Savannah and Ranger.
