Harry Bookey, the Founder and Chairman of BH Equities and BH Management Services, oversees the corporate strategic planning and analysis of property positioning for both companies. Since the founding of BH in 1992, Harry has been engaged full-time in all aspects of property acquisitions, asset management and property management. He has supervised BH’s growth from a small startup company to becoming the ninth largest multifamily management company and the seventeenth largest multifamily owner in the nation. Prior to forming BH, Harry served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a national real estate development and syndication firm based in Des Moines. He has also practiced law, specializing in real estate and syndication work, in two leading law firms in Des Moines. Harry earned undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
