Gregg Weisser is the Executive Managing Director of Leasing at the Moinian Group; who owns and operates over 20 million sf of assets valued at over $10 billion across the US. Gregg’s experience and proven track record in leasing, marketing, asset repositioning, portfolio management, and strategic planning have made him an invaluable team member of his company’s success. He has accelerated revenue growth and lowered overall portfolio vacancy to single digits in many of the assets under his leadership. In the past, Gregg worked to optimize a portfolio of owner and leased properties for JP Morgan Chase Bank as a Vice President and RE Director. His responsibilities included reflecting the changing needs of the business units and aligning the portfolio as a strategic asset. Mr. Weisser’s initiatives enhanced the company’s competitiveness and profitability by creating real estate-related business strategies through to implementation in-support of corporate objectives. He managed a team of transaction experts, conducted benchmarking and best practice studies, and used performance metrics to work with business leaders to create superior solutions. He sold over $1.5 billion in real estate, acquired over 1.7 million square feet of space across the Americas; lowered/saved the company over $600 million in one-time benefits and over $39 million in ongoing run-rate reductions. Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase bank, Mr. Weisser, a licensed real estate broker, was at the Cross & Brown Company which became a subsidiary of the MetLife Insurance Company. He represented the interests of tenants and landlords in the implementation of transactions in the Northeast USA. Gregg is a graduate of the University of Denver and has earned his Masters’ in Corporate Real Estate (MCR) from the Institute for Real Estate Studies from Corenet Global, an association for real estate professionals. He has taught real estate courses @ NYU and has spoken nationally at conferences about real estate and affiliated topics.
