A Real Estate Veteran, Gelena has a keen eye for design, identifying undervalued assets, and being able to foresee desirable areas before they reach other people’s radar.

Her past involvement with single family spec home development has given her critical knowledge and perception of the city’s many varied planning components.

Gelena currently oversees company operations and acquisitions. Since the company’s inception, Skya Ventures Inc, has secured over 100,000 square feet of development with private equity sources.

Prior to founding Skya Ventures, Gelena worked as a top leasing and sales office broker working her way to Associate Vice President at one of the top brokerage houses. While in this role Gelena excelled in lease analysis, lease negotiations, underwriting office properties for sale, dispositions, space planning, acquisitions and marketing.

Gelena is a lay leader in her community and is passionate about giving back. She currently sits on the board of Jewish Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and is involved with the Jewish Federation where she was a graduate of the Community Leadership Initiative Project. Gelena is also a member of Belle Capital, and focuses on identifying Women tech start-up’s to invest in. She is a graduate of University of California, San Diego where she graduated with honors with a double major in Urban Planning, Communications, and a minor in Economics.
