Gabriel oversees all day-to-day activities of NDF I. Gabriel oversees loan originations, due diligence processes, investment analysis, loan servicing and risk management. Gabriel brings unparalleled experience in lending and a deep understanding of real estate finance. Prior to joining Northwind, Gabriel served as CEO of BHI, the U.S. division of Bank Hapoalim, Israel’s leading financial institution and was instrumental in shifting the bank’s focus to the Middle Market, resulting in rapid growth. Under Gabriel’s management the bank’s strategic focus in the U.S. was lending to middle market companies, including commercial real estate, lending in all asset classes and major U.S. markets.

In his capacity as CEO, Gabriel headed the credit and workout committee of the bank which is responsible for approving and overseeing the bank’s loan portfolio. Gabriel possesses nearly 30 years of experience in banking, finance and management. Gabriel is extremely familiar with the local banking industry and has a vast network of connections, including bankers, business owners and executives.
