Erik Larson is a Senior Vice President at Blue Vista, with responsibility for sourcing, structuring, underwriting and executing transactions on behalf of Blue Vista’s real estate equity strategies. Erik’s areas of focus include traditional multifamily, build-for-rent and student housing, in both the United States and Canada.

Prior to joining Blue Vista, Erik spent seven years at Cedar Street Capital Partners as Managing Director of Finance, focused on all aspects of multifamily real estate development and ownership, including the sourcing of transactions, deal structuring and capitalization, disposition and asset management. Prior to Cedar, Erik worked in real estate finance at Cole Taylor Bank and Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. He originated or underwrote over $1nb billion of real estate debt in that time.

Erik earned his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management with concentrations in real estate, finance and entrepreneurism, and his BS in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Business.
