Eric Wright serves as a Vice President on Safehold’s Investments team. He is responsible for originating, underwriting, and negotiating investment opportunities, with a focus on the Carolina markets. Since joining Safehold’s founder iStar in 2014, Mr. Wright has worked on over $2 billion of new investments, including ground leases, first mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, and JV equity capital, across all real estate asset classes. Mr. Wright holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
